Please do find time to take a look.Harlestone Parish Council and Harlestone Neighbourhood Plan Steering group submitted their final version of the Harlestone Neighbourhood Plan to the Council on 30th August 2022.As the local planning authority, the West Northants Council is undertaking a six week consultation to provide an opportunity to all parties to comment on whether the plan meets the basic conditions before it goes to examination. The basic conditions of the plan;
- Must be appropriate having regard to National Policy
- Must contribute to the achievement of sustainable development
- Must be in general conformity with the strategic policies in the development plan for the local area
- Must be compatible with human rights requirements
- Must be compatible with EU obligations
Please note that the current version of the plan is the version that will be submitted for examination. The consultation commences on Wednesday 21st September 2022 and closes at midnight on Wednesday 2nd November 2022.

The launch event marks the beginning of a six week public consultation. The policies have been written to reflect responses given by Harlestone residents in the survey, and now is your chance to review and comment on the plan’s vision, objectives, policies map and the twelve policies.

For your views to be considered you must indicate which policy you are commenting on and you must provide your name, address, post code and an email address.
All comments must be returned to the parish clerk by 5pm on 27th May by either completing the online survey, emailing the form to firstname.lastname@example.org or by hand to The Old Bakehouse, Lower Harlestone, Northamptonshire, NN7 4EP.
